QUARTERBACKS

2016 class: Wisconsin signed one (Kare' Lyles)

2016 seniors: Bart Houston

2017 projection: Wisconsin signs two in the 2017 class

2017 top 5 targets: Jack Coan, Lindell Stone, Chris Katrenick, Danny Vanden Boom and Myles Brennan

Other top targets: Davis Mills, Cam Roane, Rocky Lombardi, Arion Nieves and Derek Kyler, among others.

Early outlook: Mills, Coan, Stone and Brennan currently hold offers, but it may be difficult to land a prospect from that top tier. Katrenick, a three-star prospect from Illinois, performed well at camp last summer and Vanden Boom, a UW legacy, is likely the top in-state option. Roane also made from trip from Texas to Madison and is someone the staff is monitoring. With just three scholarship quarterbacks on the current roster, it's very likely Paul Chryst will look to take two at that position in 2017.
